What is Borderline Personality Disorder?
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a disorder characterized by severe difficulties managing emotions, and thus, may lead to significant stress in interpersonal relationships and daily functioning. People with BPD might experience the following: extreme and frequent changes in emotional reactions, intense anger, suicidal or self-harm behaviors, and impulsive behaviors (e.g., impulsive eating, drinking, spending).
